Emer Dooley is passionate about entrepreneurship and global health. She is part of the Entrepreneurship Faculty at Foster School, at the University of Washington, where she teaches High Tech Strategy, Venture Capital, Entrepreneurial Thinking, Software Entrepreneurship, Environmental Innovation Practicum and Business Models in Global Health.
Emer is also the Executive Director of Alliance of Angels, where she successfully raised $4.2 M and now administers an early stage sidecar fund to invest along with Seattle Alliance of Angels members. They are the largest and most active angel group in the Pacific Northwest.
She also is a Board Member of several organizations including ARCS: Achievement Rewards for College Scientists and Washington Research Foundation, which was founded in 1981 to assist universities and other nonprofit research institutions in Washington state with the commercialization and licensing of their technologies.
