Adnan was inspired to start Jolkona after visiting his native Bangladesh and wanting to do something to help specific people suffering in poverty and despair. Through innovative technology and philanthropy models, he and his wife Nadia have inspired and empowered thousands of young professionals to turn their small donations into big impacts. He previously worked as a program manager at Microsoft, and is now active as a philanthropy consultant and speaker for the millennial generation and the U.S. State Department, and as the CEO and co-founder of LiveStories. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University and master’s degree in computer science from the University of Southern California.
